Shrine to Rats!

I used to have rats. I didn't have them long because my ad/hd made taking care of them incredibly stressful. But I still loved them a lot. I rehomed them so that they could have the best tiny rat lives possible with someone who was well versed in caring for rats. They taught me a lot about how pets can impact ur mental health. Rats are lovely, fastidious, silly creatures that you can bond with very intensely. The more I learned about them and fell more in love with them though, the more I worried I wasn't doing enough for them. I am at peace with deciding to rehome them and rats are still very special to me as wild animals and as animal companions.
